The Deposition -- call 202.374.2999 for audio

These are installation views of The Deposition, a piece with an audio component, that I created for the entrance hall of iscp in Brooklyn. This work, along with others in the show, developed from an actual incident when about a dozen armed police and inspectors from the DC government raided our home. The Deposition refers to actual questions that the city attorney asked when he deposed me in June. The Deposition is acrylic on Tyvek with shredded documents.

HELP

Both kids were home sick the day the DC government raided our home. Mu daughter hid under the covers as they tramped through her room. HELP developed out of that incident.

acles of sci

acles of sci references El Greco's Laocoon at the National Gallery. Both acles of sci and HELP are acylic on Tyvek building paper. The controversy with the DC government began with a construction project. i found a roll of Tyvek in the construction debris and began experimenting with it as a drawing and painting support.
